About AMV
What is an AMV?
An anime music video, or 'AMV' for short, is a video production that uses footage from one or more animated works in conjunction with a musical track to create a whole new piece of performance art. The source of the video material used in each AMV can come from anime series, movies, video games, commercials, and even custom animated art designed by the editor.
Music and Creativity:
As for the music, any type of song can be used, including songs or audio tracks created by the editor. Normally, these are known for beautiful editing, music selection, and telling stories, especially when they go smoothly with the music and or story to be told.

Any secondary showings may be held in a panel room, with possible surround sound.
Attendance & Prizes
Do I need to be present?
No, you do not need to be present to participate in the AMV contest. We would love to have as many people participate as possible. Some may be in other states, which is acceptable if they actually attend OneAnime. If you will be attending to receive prizes or awards for a contestant that is unable to attend, you must put this in your submission form or inform the AMV coordinator before they are turned over to the contestant's proxy. If neither the proxy or the contestant are present, then the prizes and awards will be mailed out to them.
