All participants are encouraged to wear creative costumes. No formal dress requirement — please consider:

  • Costume creativity: Express yourself and have fun.
  • Casual comfort: Wear what makes you comfortable.
  • Fursuits: Must be complemented by clothing that respects the theme.
  • Japanese cosplay: Traditional cosplay encouraged when appropriate.

In Japanese, Kenshin means 'dedicated' or 'devoted' and Taiko means 'drum'. Taiko drumming has been called the heartbeat of Japan, used to celebrate festivals for centuries. Kenshin Taiko is a Salt Lake City community dedicated to keeping the artform alive.
